Baha Mar, field inspection, during construction 2012 – 2017

The purpose of the mechanical inspection is to visually inspect and operate the built-in mechanical equipment observed on site and provide an opinion of any deficiencies apparent at the time of the inspection. The scope of this inspection includes visual observations of the readily accessible mechanical equipment and appliances without disassembly of any unit inspected and without removing items causing visual obstruction. This includes, but is not limited to, elevator systems, lifts, pumping systems, irrigation systems. It is specifically pointed out that unless otherwise indicated; determining compliance with electrical codes is not included as a part of this cursory inspection. An estimated cost of repair is provided for planning purposes only and may vary depending on the extent of the problem and the method by which repairs are made.
